It's David And Goliath In The Big First
The Topeka Capital-Journal asked "[h]ow much money have Kansas politicians raised In US House Races?" Jason Alatidd reported that, as of October 15, in the 1st Congressional District, Mann had $2.9 million. Reinhold had $5,000.
While not discussed in this article, the Reinhold campaign notes that numerous reporters have documented that she has traveled throughout the First District of northern and western Kansas, speaking with people and listening to Kansans, whereas Mann's office sends out news releases now and then, and has not shown up to ask residents about their concerns, or what they think.
Reinhold has put her campaign money where her mouth is: focusing on Kansas, and stretching every penny to its fullest; whereas it is unclear where (or whether) the incumbent is spending his campaign funds, other than to attend multiple Trump and Vance rallies, and private events -- while continuing to rubber-stamp President Trump's agenda, which is making life harder for Kansans.
In an additional contrast between the candidates, Reinhold has run a grassroots campaign, taking no corporate or PAC money.
